"After being a commercial auto client for 7 years with no claims filed, we had 2 small auto claims over the course of 6 months where no damage was done to our vehicles (we were at fault in both cases), State Farm decided to cancel our policy. They gave us 3 months to find a new carrier which we did. Yesterday we received new insurance cards from State Farm for 1 of the trucks along with an invoice even though State Farm had (in writing) cancelled us. We contacted Travis Davis office after a non-response to an e-mail asking for clarification. The agent on the phone was polite and after some time was able to determine that only one of the company trucks insurance policies had been cancelled. How is that possible we asked the agent? He was not able to answer the question. We asked for the State Farm policy to be cancelled as we already have insurance. Travis Davis office replied we can do that for you, but you have to prove that you have current insurance. Funny, they didn't seem to care about trucks being insured when they cancelled us previously. We have new policies with Farmers, much better pricing and service. We'll never be a State Farm or Travis Davis client again."
